HOYA 58MM UV Fusion Antistatic Filter
Original . . .
Hoya engineers have developed a new ANTISTATIC coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. Perfect for environments where dust is common, these filters require less frequent cleaning and maintenance than traditional filters. Additionally, the hardened, antistatic top-layer is water repellent, stain and scratch resistant, and cleans easily when smudges or fingerprints are introduced to the surface. The filter’s UV properties filter unwanted ultra-violet rays, reducing haze and increasing clarity.
The new FUSION Antistatic professional filters are made in Japan using hand selected silicates that are carefully smelted and blended to yield high performance optical glass. Hoya then uses extreme care and precision to apply the improved 9-layer Super Multi-coating formula which greatly reduces or eliminates reflections on the surface of the glass and yields an ultra clear high transmission rate. This means the filter has virtually no effect on the colour balance, contrast, or clarity of the final image.
The filters features a lightweight, one-piece, low-profile aluminum frame to house the glass. This one-piece design allows the filter to maintain perfect parallel alignment to the sensor plane for maximum sharpness, while the low-profile form eliminates vignette when used on ultra-wide-angle lenses.

Hoya 58mm Variable Density Filter
The Hoya Variable Neutral Density Filter provides a way to maintain exposure control by varying the amount of light entering the camera by 1.5 to 9 stops (0.45 to 2.7 density for cinematic use). The precision built-in double ring design allows the outer ring to rotate to control the amount of neutral density effect anywhere within the 1.5 – 9 stop range. This double-ring design is thin to reduce the likelihood of vignetting with wide-angle lenses.
The HOYA Variable Neutral Density filter can be used in place of several graded Neutral Density filters.
The Variable Neutral Density filter is helpful when:
- You need to maintain exposure control by varying the amount of light entering the camera
- Used in place of multiple graded Neutral Density filters
- Creating movement in waterfalls, rivers, and waves
- Creating motion blur of moving vehicles, trains, cars, and people
- “Panning” effect when subject maintains sharp focus while background is blurred with camera movement

Hoya 62mm UV (C) Digital HMC Filter
ORIGINAL MADE IN JAPAN
The Hoya Ultraviolet UV(C) Haze Filter is a wise initial investment. It helps protect your valuable investment from dust, moisture and scratches, which can lead to costly repairs. The result is an average light transmission of over 97% giving sharp contrast and well balanced color. Hoya HMC filters are recommended for enhancing the performance of today’s multicoated digital lenses. Multicoated to minimize reflection at the filter surfaces which reduces flare and ghosting. Good choice for digital photography If desired it can be left on the lens at all times for protection Haze filters provide additional benefits of correction for Ultraviolet(UV) light which can register on film and videotape as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details Ultraviolet filters allow you to correct for the UV effect to varying degrees

NEUTRAL DENSITY FILTERS
Neutral density filters are designed to reduce the amount of light entering your camera lens and should not have any other effect on the image. Reducing the amount of light allows for the use of wider apertures or slower shutter speeds for creative and dramatic effect in bright lighting conditions.
HMC (HOYA MULTI COATED)
These popular filters are renowned for their ability to minimise reflection at the filter surfaces which reduces flare and ghosting. The result is an average light transmission of over 97%, giving sharp contrast and well balanced color. HOYA HMC filters are recommended for enhancing the performance of today’s multicoated lenses.
